Margery (Gery) Elsie deRoux (nee Blatz) - May 30, 1925 - August 19, 2016

The Orangeville Chorus is deeply saddened to announce the passing of retired member Gery deRoux.

Gery contributed her wonderful bass sound to the chorus for more than 10 years, then supported the chorus as associate member for another 15 years. She often joined us for rehearsals, listening with a keen ear and lovely smile. Gery was a proud member of the Canadian Ambassadors of Harmony chorus that traveled to New Zealand.

We already miss you, Gery. Rest in peace, dear friend.
